Cotignac

The narrow streets of old Cotignac with their charming 16C and 17C tall and narrow buildings converge at the Place de la Mairie, at the base of “le Rocher”, the 262 foot high cliff formed by the river Cassole. Le Rocher is the key feature of the village and from the 14C Castellane tower at the top there are spectacular views over the village rooftops and the valley beyond.

Cotignac is well know for its production of honey, wine and olive oil all of which can be bought in the bustling regular weekly market.
